While I would love that, I think the Master Chief collection is a much easier sell to consumers, and it can make the money back easily and surely.
Uncharted, while, popular, is no where near as popumonolithic as Halo.
Sidenote: Remember, only the non-hd Halos (1 & 2), received an overhaul, the others just received a resolution bump and lighting overhaul. All the Uncharteds are already in hd, so a top to bottom redo is unlikely.
How many people still play BC2 on PC?
I loved playing this game on my old iPod Touch 2g.
I don't think it will be massive. I rememeber an interview done with someone over at ND saying that they always create significantly higher resolution textures than the ones actually used in the game.
I think this is where we will see the bulk of the visual improvements.
Add in more effects like smoke and lighting, a higher frame rate, and higher resolution, and that is what I feel like the game will be.
Top games shouldn't carry the connotation that they are the best. They are the ones that are the most IMPORTANT to the platform, the most important to the industry.
Besides, the list is subjective, so who really cares?
