wow..it must be really degrading for them to announce this.. they should of known HDDVD is NOT what consumers want and Microsoft just want to prolong the war.They dont care about the format war...
Blu is the future..glad i got my ps3 for mainly games, but using it for blue ray movies is icing on the cake..
HDDVD just need to go..Just declare its dead and move on..

There is no need to stick with HD-DVD the war is over. Blu-Ray have the most studio backing it up. Why waste money on a dead format?? Paramount and especially Universal will go to the Blu-Ray camp soon..Just let HDDVD go, so consumers like ourself dont have to worry which format is going to win..It seem likeyou picked the wrong side, you can always sell it on ebay..
Universal will make the switch soon..and Paramount i hope they can escape from Microsoft but its their fault and should suffer for awhile..The money is with Blu-Ray..
The next new X-box will have a Blu-Ray Drive, you think DVD will be enough for games..When all the games right now is having trouble fitting into one disk..

I have 60GB PS3 and im fine with it..NO loading time for me..
Microsoft wouldn't allow HDD install because they cant offer to all the the 360 owners because half of them dont have a hardrive ..lol..or just puny 20GB Sku.... I know for sure the 360 will have longer loading times..
Sales of Blu-Ray is high and i can see it only getting better this year. I expect nothing but great movies coming out. At my best buy all the blu-ray movies was almost sold out..
