Sorry typo. I meant to say that most people had thought otherwise as far as graphics go. And the skill thing was a joke. If you think it has nothing to do with it, fine, but there's no need to act in such an aggressive manner.
I also agree with the framerate issues, as it has been an issue since Demons Souls, but not to the extent that you have explained. I've had a few problems with the framerate but have never been inhibited by it. Ever. (Skill?) Furthermore, I found it odd that you would belittle the graphics as the public opnion, meaning those of reviewers and so forth of the graphics has been positive. Some reviews will dedicate a whole section explaining in detail the enriched color palette, in contrast t...
Point taken. Though as far as versatility goes, X holds standard. For me anyways.
Not amen, more like ignorant.
There is no end all, be all statement. All popular opinion is subject to criticism. People picking the GOTY for their respective publication is important because that game receives fame in equal part. You people frustrate me to no end because you think the lack of public opinion will create Utopia. Sufficient coverage of an art form, in this case GOTY is healthy for what we all enjoy, as is individual's opinions by extension.
I think Megaman X is more viable, considering Zero's inclusion.
I dont know why youve received only disagrees. People who haven't even played this game take offense... why?
This game was horrible, no two ways about it. People were frothing at the mouth while I sat back and called it the whole time. Call me irrational, call me whatever you'd like, but the fact remains that I was right.
I was reported for trolling and subsequently a poster raised several reasons why the game was SUPPOSED to be good. Lol. But it...
"I'm probably going to get a lot of disagrees..."
I don't agree with what you said, but I'll agree with the post just to contradict your initial assumption.
"I’m sure I wasn’t the only one that was eagerly anticipating the release of Brink."
...
Nope sorry you were. Any real gamer could spot this piece of trash from a mile away.
It looks all well and good on paper, but in practice is where the true test lies.
... but I know it's going to be awesome, I think they've made a point to differentiate themselves, and they'll put out a quality game.
I breathe the souls of demons!
I'm extremely excited, and this sounds very worthwhile.
@ Alpha
To say that most people use Netflix nowadays is somewhat ignorant, I don't want to necessarily use that word, but it's fitting for this argument.
The entire infrastructure for North America is still in the dark ages, with the exception of more heavily populated areas. I live in a city of 75,000 people and the average downspeed is about 650kbps, and realistically, that's extremely subpar. Barely enough for more advanced web browsing, let ...
"It's not often we can see someone play a game for 30 minutes and still have no idea what's happening"
classic.
how do you quote velvet throne when i never said that? that made me laugh. yeah, it's definitely you, don't put someone down because they don't agree with something. he's got the right to say any of the aforementioned, and you're only argument against him was that he, like many others, criticize opinions. that is what makes you ignorant.
coolbeans, i hope your caretaker disciplines your ignorance, even if it stems from schizophrenia.
the fact that you ostracize him for "criticizing every differing opinion" (not verbatim; improve your grammatical skills) is a contradiction to the very idea of this website, the very idea of gaming is competition. i don't care how high that pedestal is, or whether he was being critical, you've not the right to sit there and give him crap. moreover, how you ha...
this is a stupid article. to those who approved this, you deserve to be banned. stop approving flamebait articles, it makes this website look cheaper than a Chinese toy...
@logic
your name does not fit your arguments. collectively, you sound worse than what you quoted from astaroth.
don't review demos. just don't.
I'm glad this story got past the Square Enix Neighborhood Watch (Valay)
The first metro was a little rough around the edges but if they tighten things up I think it could be pretty good.
Impressive blog, very good read and interesting theoretical (at this point at least) solutions to AI. I don't mean that it's theoretical in that it can't be done, only that, like you said, developers seem to be stuck.
Coolbeans made the comment that some of these graze by unnoticed, but I feel like the point of innovation is seamless immersion.
