I see more PS3 Fanboys online here than on their gaming console must be that lack of online service Sonys providing what is it called oh yeah Home.
Dosent anyone realize in order for Sony to run an online service it cost money to run an update servers. So trust me 50 dollars for a year isnt asking a lot. 40 gig, 60gig, 80gig, 120gig, and140gig PS3 are you crazy Sony, and what for your online services is lacking and will never contend to XBOXL no matter what. Blu-Ray, hell who wants to buy HD the movies are way too much $30 to $40 dollars. I think the 120gig has a Tv inside that plays beta movies and can also drive you to work. That is why HD and Blu-ray are so unimportant right now because developers will never use these discs to the full capacity they are capable of. I bet we wont even see any games running in 1080p until the next consoles are out.

Sony has got lucky with this one or they just bought their way out. I do believe in the end Blu Ray will be better format however anyone trying to make or burn movies in HD will pay the pretty penny for this now. Sony has more overhead(TVs, PS3, Movie Company, Cameras, now Blu-Ray and a lot more) so who really loses more money that would be Sony. Microsoft has is their consoles and their programs which Sony uses on their PC models. Sony just has much more to lose when it comes to its company and they know that. I like Sony products, but people are idiots to think that Xbox 360 will ever disappear.
Why does everyone insist on talking about this game being some big crazy game like Halo 3 or any of the Halos for that matter. MGS has never sold millions or broke records its not that kind of game. It has its cult following, but most gamers are not going to run out and buy this.

I guess you were'nt paying attention when (ipod) came out or the fact that all major motion picture companies have signed with Apple for there digital downloadable movies on itunes and Appletv. Microsoft is not far either from getting this same deal. Sony may do well with the Blu-Ray for a while, but both Microsoft and Apple have already started this future.
