Actually, the argument "The Playstation Vita is NOT the Nintendo 3DS," is very valid.
They are two VERY different handheld consoles. The PSV is over 9000 levels higher and on a different plane of existence than the 3DS which cannot even keep pace with the PSV's capabilities.
All I have to say is that Nintendo failed pretty bad with this generation of handhelds, and their 3DS hardware is a spit on the face to Nintendo fans.
I...
The Playstation Vita is NOT the Nintendo 3DS.
A price cut for a supreme piece of hardware that has been engineered by Sony's finest is unnecessary for a gaming handheld like the PSV.
Where as in Nintendo's case, the products that they pump out currently are feeble to an extent that you just don't want to belong. I still can't believe that the 3DS launched at $250, and I'm sorry for the people who wasted their money then and now on that g...
I can't wait for Resistance Burning Skies and Gravity Rush. They will be game changer's for the Vita and will also change many people's outlooks on this beast of a handheld.
Thankfully I didn't fall into the trap of being controlled by Nintendo's manifestation of crappy hardware this current generation, because all I see here is infected Nintendogs ruthlessly loving their weak mother handheld, the 3DS. All I have to say to you animals is that it's okay, you will change and move on to the Vita way. People and animals make mistakes, just like those people who spent $250 on the 3DS on launch day, and the goons who still buy it now.
Ther...
Say whatever you want to say. But it's safe to say that the Nintendo 3DS is an insult to gamer's in general.
The PSVita is for true gamers. You can disagree, because I know many people who've made the mistake of buying the 3DS and are now raging about how great the PSVita is compared to the 3DS.
The 3DS deserves to fail. I wish it does.
I can't wait for the PSVita to obliterate the 3DS.
The 3DS deserves to fail because it simply isn't up to the standards of a true gamer.
Kaz Hirai looks like a serious, no BS person. I believe that he will bring Sony back to the spot light and give them the glory they deserve.
Exactly, posting articles like this and people talking about her will only add on to the sh1tstorm.
Sure she's attractive, but she ain't no Princess Peach.
I can't wait to pick up the Xbox 720/PS4.
Why is Nintendo lowering their standards every time a new product of theirs releases? First it was the 3DS which was a complete punch in the face, and now the Wii U, a complete dump on the face.
Instead of innovating and moving forward with the future, Nintendo is moving backwards in time giving consumers sub-par devices.
All I can say is that Project Gotham Racing 5 is one of the best racing titles out there. I still play it to this day even though it released over 5 years ago.
I like the idea of Concept Grand Prix, sounds very interesting. Although, it has some serious competition from Gran Turismo and Forza, two titles which many racing gamers have deep love for in their hearts.
Actually, it's all about marketing. The reason why Sony took a stab at the iPhone in the PSVita ad is to create curiosity and turn heads. If I had an all new device and I paired it up with a really well known device, then people would put their attention to it and see what all the fuss is about.
And also, Sony's PSVita doesn't feel threatened by the iPhone at all, since we are dealing with two totally different devices for different purposes. The reason why the wo...
The answer simply is no.
I will take a Vita over a Wii U any day. Ever since the 3DS, Nintendo has been going really low, and it's almost to the point where they are about to be sucked into an abyss of no return.
It's quite a ballsy advertisement, but read what it says, "I may never touch a GAME on my iPhone again."
We are talking about GAMING, and we already know the clear winner on the poster right in front of people's faces. I think why Sony chose to go with this ad is because it's eye catching. The ad is simple, has bold colours, and most importantly has the word iPhone in it.
The PSVita is a completely new device and pairing it up with comp...
Totally agree. Especially friend notifications, they are the most annoying.
When those alerts pop up on games, it makes you rage at times, most notably in Wipeout 2048.
It looks like I won't be adding Army Corps of Hell anytime soon to my PSV gaming collection.
Little King Story seems to be running pretty well on the Vita, fluid and lag free.
Wow. This man speaks the truth. I agree that the PSVita advertisements are pretty bland and they don't let people understand what this all new device is about.
The PSV deserves recognition and Sony isn't certainly giving the effort at the moment with their marketing and advertising.
But even if Sony doesn't try, the PSVita will not die.
I think I'm gonna buy a Gamecube.
Sure Rayman Origins is a pure example of gaming beauty, but it's nothing with the help of the PSVita's AMOLED.
I use a phone to call and contact people. I use a Vita to game my heart out.
Two totally different devices that shouldn't be compared or even be put in the same sentence.
The Wii U is the epitome of failure for Nintendo.
There's quite a number of reasons why failure is in the horizon of Nintendo, but here is one major point: the console incorporates a tablet like controller.
A gaming console and tablet were never to intersect or even be beside each other, but now Nintendo will be the first in history to do so and they do not understand the consequences for a move like this. The countdown to the destruction of console gam...
