everyone just needs to remember that the PS2 was the highest selling console. And during it's "life" the PSX came out and the PS2 was not rattled because of it.

i'll enjoy it. But on my PC though.. So much screen tearing in this version... If it's one thing that ruins a game for me.... It's not resolution, or even FPS ..... it's when the picture consistently breaks over and over...

it's great for PC gamers. I HAVE a PC that can run it. And I wanted Recore to which is ALSO coming to PC.... so, I'm switching to Sony PlayStation to play the great console exclusives. And through my PC I can still enjoy the Microsoft exclusives. My Xbox is on sale right now. I have no need for it anymore.
just for the record, when those PC specs were announced, they aren't regarding 1080p res.... It is higher res they are suggesting. But it isn't mentioned... My 660ti or my son's r9 290X will play it fine. We both have I7's 8 GB of ram, etc.. I'm trading my Xbox One in for a PS4 so that I get all the exclusives. Microsofts AND Sony's. Then when Nintendo comes in with NX, I'll have all the best gaming stuff.

In the light of the fact that people need jobs... This is not good.
So on a personal note. This is not great for the people who have families to support or help support..
With that said... speaking strictly on a professional level in regards to the video game industry..
