Why does it matter how much microsoft gets paid? Do you own microsoft shares, do you work for the company, or you enjoy kissing corporate a**? what matters in the console war is how many consoles are in the hands of the consumers, not how many are sold. Microsoft can sell 2.7 million to retailers, but retailers can keep those for months if they don't sell them. Also, some retailers like to have extra inventory just in case.
Oh and by the way it is 2.7 million not 2.3 mil...
