I dont really agree with their research fully but if this is more true I wouldnt be too surprised because generally the hardcore group have more of a disposable income to afford the music cds games and other things, because I know a lot of casual gamers/community use limewire which I think the article wanted to state in someway but really didnt.

When you move or walk in the sphere the sphere stays in place so no if your in a big area in the game you dont need a park size area to play it. Also i dont think this could work because it requires constant use of energy throughout your entire body. Meaning if you come home tired from work or a game or something and to tired to be jumping running/walking ur basically screwed. Maybe this could be a good secondary controller but not something that is a main feature in gaming.

Considering that its not as developed as xbl yet and a lot of other factors that come into place. Most ps3 users dont buy ps3 for online most ppl who focused on online went for 360. Also for the fact that most users dont buy ps3 for online its because they dont have a broadband connection. I LIKE THIS!... If this game is good and a lot of people use this deal then thats a bigger community to help prolong the game. If this game is not that good just average the bigger community will still make the game good. If the game is bad I can return it and put the money down for MGS coming out next month so win-win-win situation for me.

The huge flaw about your logic is that people actually wanted ps3 but couldnt afford a 600 dollar console. 360 was already affordable with its lowest version for 275 dollars. Less than half of the ps3 when it came out. People clawed for a price drop for the ps3 for MS they just using it as a pure business strategy and nothing else . Hardly any1 uses the excuse that 360 is to expensive if most people dont have one its because they dont want 1 and waiting on another ps3 price drop.

What ever happens is a win-win situation for Sony. Sony doesnt give them blue ray they say their the only 1s with blue ray and make that a system seller. If they give it to MS it will be most likely an add on because putting it in will bring cost up to much so MS will probably be paying a lot of money for the license and then not really make a return because no one buys add ons.(Look at hd-dvd)

But the majority of the ppl buy 360 strictly for online service so their numbers are kind of disappointing. Online is not a really a selling factor yet for the ps3 and most ps3 users dont really have online which is why ps3 is their choice it gives us a great experience when ur off line as well as online.
