manufacturers set the MSRP... that's why it's called the MANUFACTURERS suggested retail price... if they have low enough production costs, they could easily pass a good portion of the profits on to the retailers
hence why there's a disclaimer on the article saying it's strictly an editorial... but it's definitely a possibility when you look at the facts
