It's certainly a win for gamers.
Unfortunately, the PS3 had to change their policies of sharing 5 PS3 to 2 PS3 because the gaming developing community tough they would not make games on the PSN because of that "generosity". That it was bad for business.
So I don't know how well this will go for Steam and if the big publishers just decide to do their own thing 100% like Origin and UPlay and just abandoning Steam.... Or will they end up makin...
Originally on PS3. You could have had 5 different PS3s sharing the same account, essentially sharing the same games among friends and family.
Unlike Steam, all of them could have played the same single player game at the same time, but only one PS3 could have had the account active to play online.
They had prediction for the PS3 dominating last gen. But you can't let that go to your head.

They were using an high end PC at the E3 press conference.
Neither consoles are out yet, so we'll have to wait and see.
If there are multiple levels of graphics settings with the PC and the PS4 is like a PC in many ways, then they're likely going to use that extra power because it's easier to program for.
