There is nothing seriously wrong with the economy. It's thinking like this that puts the common man into a scared and cause a domino effect. The economy will bounce back up, it's all part of the business cycle.

Star Wars was on my list but with MM9, WipEout HD, LittleBigPlanet, SCIV (still didn't get a chance to get it), Valkyria Chronicles, possibly Mirror's Edge, possibly Socom and what ever good PSN download, I don't think I can afford to buy Star Wars. I'm sure a lot of other PS3 owners have a huge list of fall/winter game list to choose Star Wars.
What ever happen to Leigh Alexander? She was the only pro-Sony writer. I guess they want to be 100% 360 fanboy.

I agree, there is choice but what Microsoft is doing is only hurting the gaming industry.
I can only wonder how much better many 360 games would be if the harddrive was mandatory. I also wonder what it would be like if HD-DVD was a built in.
Sure, by making those optional it makes the pricing on the 360 more appealing and help satisfy those who are more in line with casual gaming but it really does hurt the hardcore market.
This is going to be great, I always hated how most games are so linear (I love RPG especially JRPG) but never really liked how they are linear (which is why I prefer multiple endings). I have high hopes for Heavy Rain.

HDMI cables are really cheap, i have 2 and didn't cost me more than 20.

I have the 40gb, still have 15gb left and i just recently ordered a 250gb for .... $50. Holy poop, $100 less than 360's 120gb drive and more than double the storage.
Card reader, the 40gb might not have one but I sure use the card reader on my laptop. If my PS3 have it, I would use it to transfer save files and photos.

Sony has always been about being futureproof and saving in the long run especially in their PlayStation brand. You get blu-ray (cheap), cell processing, free online service, built in wifi, etc.
The 360 is mostly on the short term scale. You buy their system now, you need to buy x amount of accessories before you can further enjoy gaming. And their non-standard hdd and dvd-9 is starting to become a real problem for developers.
Reviews and opinion are okay, but promoting a trading site isn't really news worthy.
Of course we will see a PS4. Remember the ad for the PS9. Sony had long planned the PS4.

4 years is almost up for 360. It's almost time for MS to dump the 360 and move on. Of course there will be articles about next gen.
