U cant directly compare a consoles spec to PC,they are custom coded and games optimized to the setup.
i paid £379 onlaunch with killzone and fifa 15.
i would of happily paid £450 for a beefier console,but at same time im really enjoying ps4 how it is and most of games looks amazing and good enough.
bloodborne for example looks amazing.
the faster last gen dies the better looking games will become.

i paid £32 for bloodborne and the order was £30 from online shop using codes(both on release day)
if retail prices went up we would still get charged for DLC lol.
The shops in uk have new releases from £35-49 yet digital is £55+
digital was touted as a cheaper way and savings could be passed on,yet its been respun as convienient so we pay a premium.
By your reckoning(prices higher we wouldnt get shafted after) then digial games should include all season DLC because there at least 25% more in cost in UK.

i think its the bigger platform and better exposure .Sony bundling BO3 with console,adverts with it etc is a bigger pull than with a xb1 at the moment and ps4 is gaining momentum all time.

considering u can pretty much go all way through game with no load screens i dont think the load screens are that bad and it didnt annoy me when i was playing it.
