As dissapointed as I am that the original concept didn't quite make it to fruition, I will still be picking this one up as well.

i agree whole heartedly, the original concept footage looked true to the Metal Gear franchise, now.... urgh !
I guess we will have to just wait and see.
It used to be that if you had problems you would hire someone from a development team that had what you were looking for, not outsource the entire game. Once you do that, it becomes someone elses creation, and not your own. Thus losing its "true" indentity

their was even one point where a puma came out of no where and attacked my horse, first I was upset at losing my horse, that emotion surprised me, then I was scared cuz the puma turned around and started for me. I like the game

I am really intrigued by the story and love the fact they are trying something new. I think its well worth the purchase for those who will get it. BTW. your comment about the magic sunglasses was hilarious !
I have to admit, as bad as I don't want it, the sequences I watched really pulled me in, because I wanted to make different choices then what was made.
I don't think too many people could look at this game and say that it isn't interesting at the very least. ...
