Off the top of my head there are 4 new IPs coming exclusive to the PS3 this year and even more if you include PSN titles.
When the haters were trying to kill off as many new IPs back in 2007, and even still till today, you all didn't care Sony was investing in bringing new stuff to gamers. You just wanted the games to die and praised funding big money for timed exclusive DLC

Actually, the negative reveiws did slow GT5 sales down. The game would have been selling at a more rapid rate had there been 9.9s across the board which is what it rightly should have been getting.
I have no clue why the gaming media ragged on this game that so obviously drips with quality but I'm sure there's a story behind it and we will never really know why they did what they did.
Will this game also have a monthly subscription too? If so, how much?
The fighting mechanics seemed too old school and outdated to me but many people love it though.
there are many people who will present article showing the PS3 has no games or just multiplats. Articles like this helps make sure those anti-PS3 people will have a harder time twisting facts or misleading those that may not be in the know.

I think most PS3 gamers will be similar to you too. Maybe 1 or 2 multiplat games @ full price but over 90% of PS3 gamers purchases will be exclusives while waiting for either price drops or used sales for some multiplat games in summer or something.
It doesn't matter what genre, it seems Sony's either got you totally covered or atleast partially. Should FFvs release this year then wow!

It is not the PS3 fans being insecure about anything. When Crysis was a PC only game you didn't get PS3 fans turning up in PC gaming forums mentioning Killzone every 5mins.
