They did deliver, Crysis 2 looks spectacular and i still enjoy it. Crysis 1 on consoles is an awesome port too. Too bad people are blind. Crytek is 1 of the best developers.
I held on to all Splintercells. Conviction is the 2nd best in the series. Chaos Theory still my nr.1
@limewax Now that has NEVER been the case... Every new generation had more expensive consoles at launch, that's a given.
That would represent the leap worthy of a true nextgen. Epic is demanding such specs for the next gen...'a nextgen console must represent a huge leap more than 10x the power of current consoles'. I would be surprised if this is true.
@Aggesan Exactly, just what i was thinking. The high poly models are the 1st being made before dumping em down for this gen. So the cost are already made in the 1st place plus it will be easier because the software nowadays is better and since (quite) a lot of years capable of CGI graphics(cinema level) with lesser and lesser effort. This article is pure bullocks.
Great comment, i agree. I hope DICE didn't get the wrong impression because of the lack in sales. They did it right with this game and they should continue on it.
Every game has flaws, why the label of flawed gem? Because of the bad timing of release resulting in poor sales? IT IS A MASTERPIECE! and a RARE gem. One of the best of this generation and a true piece of art! I simply love it!
LMAO!!!!
Like i said before, Kinect is not new...it's old and such controls already exist since the eighties...it will never be as efficient as controllers are. It is superficial innovation. Is it too much too ask to go beyond inefficient energy waisting controls and focus on real innovation IN games not outside it? When we play games we FORGET about the controls...controls have never been the issue like when we drive a car we FORGET the controls and consider the car as part of ourselfs(that is th...
@Lou-Cipher, exactly! Kinect will never be all that cause we would break our backs playing games. Kinect also makes playing games less immersive, it distracts and the effort you have to put in to decently control a core game is way too energy inefficient. It is too much about the controls and we're already past that. It's about the games and immersion, Kinect is just about the body control not about playing 6 hours on end and enjoying ur-self. If u want to do a body workout go outside...
Are u crazy? NO WAY! And my whole library of discs then? I read about the X-Engine and the upscalable xbox360 games...this just BS. It will have a Disc reader at least. Microsoft always said that they learned their lesson and would support the 360 games in the future and that it wouldn't be like what they did with the original xbox. BS articles.
Halo Reach amazed, the game is the best halo game after Halo 1, in my opinion. It definitely didn't dissapoint.
The only flaw was that it was too short, i can play this game a zillion times and still like it. This game is exceptional. ME2 is a must
E3 next xbox reveal almost confirmed, major partners already working with Unreal Engine 4, confirmation that roadmaps are acknowledged and known to Epic. Major news i reckon.
I can imagine him revealing the next Xbox on E3 during the press conference this year...
He's the ace in the hole for microsoft to take over Europe. Just Phil did for Sony.
Why state that, that's not what he means...and not what i mean. U lack imagination and state the obvious. We need a better way to keep systems open. Closing everything/censoring isn't the solution...like Sopa wasn't.
What he stands for is exactly the opposite what Onlive is bringing. Onlive represents a closed system OUT OF OUR HANDS. Go Valve ur the greatest and on our side. U know what's best for gamers instead of the suits
This is about the 3D imaging process of Kinect. It has stereo cameras (and the special algorithm software was originally developed by a company in Israel, now bought by Microsoft). A misunderstanding by the journalist i'm sure. This is about expanding the team working on Kinect software, not about 3DTV.
Hell yes, I'm interested. Bring it on! The Crysis IP is in a league of it's own. Crysis 3 is more than welcome! btw Homefront 2 has already been acknowledged by Crytek, no secret there. Crytek said this announcement will be a new unknown game that is in development....Crysis 3?
