I don't hate Deus Ex: HR's takedowns, but I don't love them either. It's a cool game so far but not as good as the original. Mass Effect 3, on the other hand, looks like it'll be the best parts from ME1 and ME2 combined. Fingers crossed!

I don't think the controller is going to lead to a lot of direct competition with PS3/360. The Wii U is more like a home console for iphone lovers. It might have some neat stuff and it'll probably do alright, but I don't think it will "beat" Sony or Microsoft even if it sells 100 million units. If that were the case, then they already lost to Apple, Samsung, Google, Facebook, etc. etc.

Yeah, I think companies need to focus more on co-op and less on competitive multiplayer. I'd rather play WITH my friends than against them.
People keep complaining that Wii doesn't support core gamers enough, and right here you have an awesome game that SHOULD be supported, but it isn't. If the Wii had more games like this then I might actually want one.
