This is the first in what we hope will be a very long series covering many different games.
Don't be shy and let us know what you think on our site or in these comments. Every bit of feedback will help us make these videos better.
Thanks.
Thanks for the approvals guys!
Good luck to those who decide to enter!
I completely agree that it is weird that they waited so long to discuss single player. Perhaps because they thought we'd pretty much know what to expect.
Ya, we're going for a more dynamic un-scripted feel to the whole thing. I think it's way more fun to create and listen to.
Also, everyone should check out our Trine give-away on the site. There's a link in the sidebar.
Thanks for the approvals everyone!
This is our first video so we're really looking for feedback. We'd appreciate it if you could post something in the comments on the site or here and let us know what you think. We have many more in the queue for posting, so stay tuned to armchairconquistadors.com over the next few days!
I guess I can't reply to yours directly so I'll just do it here.
I don't believe the game suffered from a lack of production value because it was multiplatform, I think quite the opposite actually.
I've never played Heavenly Sword, but yes it looked pretty decent. From what you're saying it seemed like a very good game with lots of potential. Maybe we will see a second one, there's still time for it. Perhaps I should really go rent the...
Ya, we're really trying to focus on the fun side of things since that's the reason we play games in the first place. The lack of score was also a intentional choice because we believe the content of the review should be enough for the reader to gauge what we think of the game.
We plan to focus on all original written and video content so there's not going to be much news of press release stories on our site unless something REALLY, and I mean REALLY, interesting c...
Perhaps, but there's nothing wrong with making a multiplatform game. Who's to say that Heavenly Sword would have sold that well now. It launched early in the PS3's lifecycle when there were very few other titles available. Much of the time games like that are bought simply because there is nothing else available.
I think it was the right choice to launch multiplatform with a new IP, especially because they seem to really believe in it. But, I think they should hav...
I mean it wasn't the most original game possible, but I wouldn't be that down on it. I think one reason for it's lack of sales was that it launched around the same time as many more well-known games. A new IP like this needs to launch during a less crowded time of year to really succeed.
I think the character design was great and the characterizations and performances of the protagonists were some of the best I've ever seen in a game. Yes the gameplay was simp...

Thanks.
Don't forget to leave some comments here or on the site. We're a new site so we're looking for any feedback out how we can improve.
Yay, approved! I'd really like to hear what everyone else thinks about this story.
Feel free to post a comment on the site or here for further discussion. I look forward to discussing this topic with you all.
Well you should consider yourself lucky. This game seems to be mainly a broken mess. The recent patch seems to have fixed it, but I'm finding it harder and harder to get back into the game after all the grief it has caused me.
Awesome, Some new sites for me to check out.
Awesome review, too bad I don't own a PS3. :-(
Great idea! Maybe this will abolish fanboy ramblings.
Well multiplayer is pretty much a reskinned COD4 with dogs so people should know what to expect.
You're wrong Jeanpool, Treyarch can make a good game. It just doesn't happen too often.
Also, stop talking in the third person. It makes you sound retarded.
I love Call of Duty!
We'll, so far, this one's pretty rough. Hopefully they've learned a lot and improved upon almost everything in the sequel.
I really can't hate on developers that make RPGs though.
