Can somebody please tell this guy that he's missing the entire fucking point? He gets all pissed at the developers saying they must not have kids when that is clearly the point of the trailer. It is trying to capture the loss and absolute desolation of a real outbreak situation like that. It doesn't glorify the killing of zombies like Dead Rising, it shows that even these perfect loving families are being torn apart but will do anything to save those they love.
It...
It's too bad the voice acting sounds like it was done by Mrs. Harrison's freshman drama class because everything else looks superb. I loved, loved, loooved Indigo Prophecy and I've been excited for this for such a long time so it's a shame to see such horrendous talent even in lead roles. Bad acting is a sure way to completely ruin dramatic moments...which is practically the point of Heavy Rain. I'm still excited for it. Just slightly disappointed.
Sorry for the angry rant everybody, but this just has me worked up. As I'm sure it has many of you as well.
First off, to all the gullible people, "Colossus & The Hendersons" was a pretty obvious joke.
But on to my point.
Regardless of how bad video game movies usually are, regardless of how badly Shadow of the Colossus would translate to film, regardless of the fact that they obviously just want to treat this as a spectacle piece so the trailer will look pretty and get stupid people to go, regardless of all that, it will suck, first and foremost, because the...
Hey man, don't worry. They are sticking with modern warfare. Infinity Ward is, I mean. See, Treyarch never did a modern warfare game. They've only stuck in the extremely overdone and, by now, uninteresting WWII genre. So they're sticking to their guns too! How noble of them...
Yeah, but 3 was garbage floating around in a septic tank compared to any of the infinity ward ones. Treyarch was hired to make COD3 because EA wanted to squeeze a turd out and call it a gold nugget in less than the amount of time it takes to conceive and birth a baby while Infinity Ward spent ACTUAL TIME AND EFFORT on COD4 (which should have been COD3, but GOD FORBID they actually work long and hard to make the best game they can) and now EA is doing it again while Infinity Ward works on the...
That would be awful strange if that were the case because even if that does happen it will be in a firmware update. Emulation software and all that. It's because of a stupid pricing mistake! AND I MISSED MY CHANCE! I could've had a PS3 by the time MGS4 came out (ONE DAY BEFORE MY BIRTHDAY MIGHT I ADD). I'm so upset. They have to honor their mistake, btw. That's been a rule for stores since forever.
Your words are art, my friend.
Don't be upset. It's completely wrong. It's not a spoiler, it's just BS.
Okay, first off, the article gets it wrong right away, apart from the bad grammar, saying "when he decided on how Cloverfield's monster would look like." He didn't decide. If they had actually seen the movie they would have known that like the 3rd name on the credits was of the guy who designed the monster.

And besides the monster in the movie is a quadruped with a slender body and head springing from a neck; fea...
Do you get out from under that rock much?
Every comment you've made is exactly what I've been trying to say. Thank you so much for getting it and articulating your points so well.
Geoff seems to be scared of his responsibility as a father, wanting to pretend that any bad possibilities just don't exist, as opposed to standing strong and acknowledging what's scary about being a father.
I'm not saying he's a bad dad, just that I completely agree that he needs to grow up.
