Pay off or not WB would have went blu-ray exclusive sooner or later do to the majority of movie studios on blu-ray's side and all the blu-ray sales, and with Paramount the only on HD-dvd side it too might go to BD also.

Really this will be the future, but in the distant future. Microsoft has to think not everyone in the world has a super fast connection and highend PC to support this now. And besides I really think this is bad for the consumer because if this does get implemented it will just be another excuse why people will not go outside.

I think this increase isn't from the gaming department, I think it came from all the office software and business stuff. Well all I can say is maybe this is why Microsoft is making a new SKU.

Paramount is like that girl in highschool that picks on the new nerdy kid that liked her(Blu-ray)and goes out with the jock(HD-dvd) , and 2 years into the future that nerdy kid is now popular and rolling in money. And now Paramount comes crawling back to the Nerd (Blu-ray),saying "please except us back" and Blu-ray says "what happened to HD-dvd?" and Paramount says oh I left him with no money and just the kids. lol
