I think David Hayter should play snake, if he doesn't, they should at least accept his screenplay for the movie.

The campaign is still top notch even without a strong story. The pacing and variety are just right. With that said, I still wouldn't play it by myself, I'd much rather play co-op.
while MGS4 was easily as cinematic as GTA IV, the actual story required playing the first three games to get the most out of it. That might not be a bad thing but really, the story in MGS4 was just to tie the whole series up. MGS3 had a brilliant story on the other hand.

the ps3 is probably going to be superior to the 360 by the end of this gen, Microsoft just wanted market share.

Gears 2 sold more than both LBP and R2 combined. :)
I'm not saying Killzone 2 is going to be bad, it looks pretty cool.(Need to play it before I judge the gameplay)

so let's just forget bioshock was exclusive on the 360 for more than a year.
