Well, I think there been amazing games, at least for PS3.
Mass Effect 2 (Sure, it was a year sooner on PC/X360, but it´s a great game)
LBP 2 (MM did it again)
KZ3 (Great shooter and Move is great in it, multiplayer is diffrent, but stil amazing)
Crysis 2 SP (Singleplayer was amazing for me as a fan of Sci-Fi, sure it had issues, but I really liked, unfortunately the MP on PS3 is a mess, gave it up :( )
Portal 2 (Amazing, just amazing, from the art ...

While I´m looking forward to see the graphics of BF3 on my console or computer, that I will probadly build around next year, I´M NOT playing it for that, but for the warfeel in MP, can´t find a better experience in that. Recoil in guns, sounds of guns, explosions and deaths, tanks exploding, smoke around the battlefield, enemy language that I hear when I´m close to them, destruction and a lot more. Sure, it has things from BFBC2, but why fix what is not broken?
Well, after parody of Call Of Duty, Black Ops. (And I played them all exept CoD3) I don´t trust it, so I came back to Battlefield, because when I bought it, Blops was just sitting in my shelf, so I sold it. Maybe the MW3 will be diffrent, but I´m just not eating 6hours campains with no logic.

Yes it runs at 60 FPS, but when action starts, it´s jumpy. (30-60 FPS)

1) About the power of the machine, don´t just focus on one thing (CPU), but try to cover everything.
2) Hardware should work longer and better cooling.
3) You already have Blue-ray, that will be enough for a long time, so you don´t have to do another medium, game sizes won´t change that much over the years.
4) And what I REALLY want to see about graphics in the future on consoles is a proper antialiasing.
