If you actually read the article from Eurogamer they explain everything. Yes it can be that strong doing 16 bit calculations alone. But of course we're not going to get that performance because 32 bit has to be used as well.

Are these companies forcing you to buy games. The game isn't out yet and now you can try it. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT then cancel your preorder or don't buy the game. You know you can do that right?
More importantly, people need to buy the game. That's the reason Nintendo doesn't have 3rd party support because nobody buys the games amd then complain when companies don't release games on the system.
Why should these companies even bother wasting money if no one buys games. Plus if the system is not powerful enough then developers have to spend time trying to get the game to run on their underpowered systems.
When I read articles, I always pay attention to how it is written and how the writer tries to use words to convey or get out a certain emotion.
Maybe I'm reading too much into this but I'm just going off of the short description on this page. Notice how he says the Pro will be more powerful than the PS4 but SIGNIFICANTLY less powerful than the Scorpio.

Yeah most thought, including me, that the Pro would do 1440 and then upscale from that to 4k. I guess that CR allows developers to squeeze a little more out of the system. And remember , these are just the launch titles for the Pro.
I'm sure things will improve even more once developers get used to the system and when the Scorpio launches. Good time to be a gamer minus all the constant fanboy bickering.
Basically how all the Xbox fanboys have been saying that there is no difference between 900p and 1080p. Maybe you need to take your own advice. The game is 1800p and then upscaled. So your saying that the game is upscaled to 1800p then that is upscaled to 4k? I'm not sure how that works. 0_o
Going to try to wait until BF and hopefully find some deals. Too many games coming out for my wallet. Plus the Pro coming out on the 10th won't help.

I know what you mean. I have the Pro preordered but now I want a TV. I bought a 4k last year during Black Friday but it's non HDR. Now I want another with it. If there is a cheap one then I might be joining you in your thoughts.
