It's downloads. It's basically like Netflix. Games will be added and taken away accept it's not a streaming service and you actually download the games. Sounds pretty good and it will be nice to see what games are included minus EA titles of course. This started with one company and now there's 2.

MS is already trying to do that. We'll see after the reveal. If this thing has all new chips and completly different architecture then the answer becomes more clear.
The Pro just adds some things to the existing architecture. Mainly overclocks, a small bandwidth increase and a beefier GPU that, in simple terms, is right next to the old one. Even the RAM isn't dramatically different.
We will see if the Scorpio follows the same trend.

That sounds nice but the billion they make off of Live just from subs says hi. No company will give that up. Especially with these systems being such a hot project for hackers. I would love for it to be free but I know have to accept the reality.
If they stick with AMD then that process will be much easier. That goes for both companies. Also, since Sony is now using x86 architecture it will be a lot easier for BC unlike their past systems which were pretty custom. That's one fact many people seem to forget that want BC.
Sony essentially had/would have to put the previous gen chips inside the next system for BC. Guess what? That increases cost. Software emulation was/is much harder on their systems.
