Fangblade I think you'll find that the other review was Xbox World 360 and not OXM. Games Radar have just copied that review and aknowledge that at the beginning of the article. I looked to see if I could find an OXM review but I could not there only appears to be a preview from them.

FantasyStar you have gone a bit off target with your pop at Killzone 2. The link you found between KZ2 and this topic is tenuous at best. KZ2 might not have Co-op or split screen but it has a perfectly good multi-player mode. Getting back on topic, I agree marking down a game purely because it does not have multi-player is very harsh. I agree, this looks like a very atmospheric game. I don't know why more games don't employ truly dark environments. It's a simple mechanic that can add so much atmosphere. I like survival horror and have been a little disappointed by the recent lack of good titles. I know this technically is more FPS than survival horror but there appears to be an edge of SH to it. I think you should take another look at a PS3 or Xbox 360 related thread. The comments on this thread seem polite and friendly compared to some of them, LOL.
Sorry Nintendo I don't see enough games on your console that appeal to me. When I made the decision to buy a console I looked at the Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360 but the Wii had the least titles that intrigued me. It's a good and innovative console but other than Nintendo I see few other developers producing good hardcore games for the console. It's found it's market with casual, family and young gamers but until it gets more quality 3rd party support I feel it will continue to struggle to establish...
I have been having a bit of a poke at Halo today, seems to becoming an hobby of mine, LOL. But you are right Forklift, it would be nice if members of this site (including me) would grow up a bit and cut out these 'my console is better than your console' arguments. They are all great consoles and those who stay partisan to one are the ones who miss out, which is obviously where all the envy comes from.
P.S. I have only 2 consoles you lucky git ;)

I partially agree with you. I agree that Killzone 2 isn't perfect it has pacing issues, i.e. the constant intense firefights can feel like it's a bit of a grind at times. And I agree that Halo 3 is kind of fun. My problem with Halo 3 is that it's nowhere near as technically good as the Halo fanboys make it out to be. I bought it based on their hype and ended up being disappointed. I have no doubt that Halo 1 & 2 were classics but I feel that Halo 3 and ODST fell well...

Doom, Half-Life and Deus Ex are all outstanding titles. I could debate all night on which is the best and would probably fail to make up my mind. I think I'll call it a 3 way tie and take the cowards way out.
