UC2 is very impressive but this does not mean that all other games fail, lets just wait and see instead of speculating, you can judge a game by peoples enthusiasm, tell me you do not want to play Alan Wake and I will call you a fraud, the graphics especially some of the lighting look fantastic, I think it will shock quite a few people.

by the time I get a PS3 I will be spoilt for choice, this is why you need both consoles.
for example if they are talking about things such as IPOD or USB mass storage devices they will put themselves in line for a lawsuit because the fact that you could hook these things up was a deliberate selling point, if they stop the very same people that watched the promotion of these devices for use on Xbox-360 now being told to stop using these devices it could end up in the courts, yes there are people out there viewing pirated films from there USB mass storage hooked up to there Xbox-36...

the difference is the contrast or use of black, I am not saying changing your TV settings will sort this but the difference does seem to be the colour, and whilst you may not be able to get the PS3 version to look like the 360 version I bet you I could make the 360 version look like the PS3, and I bet you would not longer see a texture difference.
Gears of War also has filters and can look very colourful.
I played most of the old spectrum games, Rare have made some great games though.
1. there are not enough charactors playing to judge it.
2. the animation needs work.
3. the trailer looks to use the in game engine, possibly it is gameplay with a bit of editing.
4. the trailer looks so much like Killzone 2.
I am just so impressed with consoles right now, people keep bringing up the PC but seriously the consoles are giving the gaming rigs a run for there money.
and then there was the Warthog lol, I never doubted the 360 could achieve Killzone 2 levels of detail but it is hard to tell if this is the game to do it because the actual demo vids don't really tell us much, the CGI does look to have been created using in game engine but the charactor animations leave a lot to be desired.
WII HD, Nintendo are clever, they don't bother with a HD console until Sony and MS have established theirs, have massive success with the WII and then make Mario and Zelda etc seem fresh and new all over again with WII HD, I am not 100% but I have a feeling Nintendo will win next generation also.
