Because it's all relative.. and it will ALWAYS be compared to 3DS standards in terms of software and hardware sales.
It doesn't have much for 3DS standards of system sellers (Animal Crossing, etc).
It's bombing at its home turf.

The only thing that looks like the GC version is the LOD of the environment.. even then environment on the VITA is a bid wider.
The character models, enemy models and animation are better.

In 6 years.. there'd be at least 7 Generations of videocards with at least +30% performance per succession.
Every refresh usually 8-12 mo. the PC will have new GPUs and the PS4 won't.
6 years from now high end PCs will do native 4K+AA @ 120 FPS easily with flagship graphics.
PS4 won't.
If higher end PCs today have comparable graphics with what the PS4 has shown and even able to output x3 1080p @ higher framerates...
NGS2+ has worse framerate issues and runs lower than native.. I still give me personal crown to NGS+.. One of the sharpest (native with filter on top) and stable framerate VITA games.
