My 60GB died 1 week before the update came out, and it cost me $150 to fix cause its out of warranty now. I hope it does not happen every 2 years like the ps2 did. The laser went bad on my ps2 3 times.
But I am still a Sony fan, Just wish I didnt have to pay the big service charge to get it fixed.
