That's why breakpoint was a disaster. Go to the forum and you will see a thread nearly 60 pages long of people asking for it to be offline. This is one of the main reasons games are flopping.
Single player games are being made online only, and when no one buys them they give the excuse its because gamers dont like single player games anymore. Destiny 2 is not a single player game and Diablo 3 can be played offline.

This was gonna be my first purchase of an EA game in years. I was gonna buy this because they said it won't have microtransactions and loot boxes. Now I know why they wont include them. Because there's no such thing as a loot box, they are surprise mechanics. I dont recall them say it wont have "surprise mechanics"

If i had the money I would create my own commercial exposing this dogs shit of a game, and have it played during Britains got talent so every kid and parent can see this bullshit this game has to offer. My 2 boys asked for this game for Christmas and after reading this they have asked me to cancel them. Glad they saw sense.
The only thing we can do to stop these shit bags from taking more studios are killing them is by not purchasing their games and wasting money on micro transactions. I'm not surprised they are doing this with all that money they are making.
