how can you pay for the system later on as well as more AAA games. You still wont be able to buy them all so I really dont see why the amount of games out is a factor when you cant afford to buy them all at once.
Nothing to date is better than COD 4, still tons of fun and will only get better with the new maps.
Man, I was worried I had bad taste by not liking this game. My brother got the first one when he just got his PS3 and to me the game was boring. I didnt like the missions and the gameplay but since everyone talked so much about it I though that maybe I hadnt really found out the real fun in the game but never really wanted to bother. but thats normal because there is an interest in the company that wasnt there before. If EA pulls back then obviously that interest will start to fade away and the prices will go down because that interest or demand will be gone. But guess what will spike up the interest in TT? a little game called GTAIV. Thats how economy works. They are just trying to scare investors into seling as fast as possible before EA would have to pay up even more money.
If EA is ever able of taking over TT then they might most likely pack up and leave to start another company and take their talent with them creating new games with the same style. Their previous games will loose the uniqueness to them because it will be someone else copying what they did before. I would like to know about the new development studio so I can support them. I support talent and passion not greedy take overs.
First comment that made good sense. Consummers expect things for free when they do not understand the cost behind production. It will take sometime for BD to come down but eventually I believe it will be the best/accessible technology available to the majority of consumers in the immediate future.
will be between BD manufactures. maybe it wont be by that much but once one of them is able to make a less expensive BD player and pass the savings on to the consumer the others will start to drop some prices. Aww man, something that never occured to me. Awesome feature and the visuals are looking amazing. Some of the best similarities Ive seen so far on a football game, just look at Raul almost identical. Hopefully the game will be out soon. Football games are never boring so I can never have too many.

the 3-D style was when I hated MK. The more realistic type was the way to go for all MK games.

to me at least. I lost interest after they started releasing the 3D style which seemed to make the game more fake or more cartooney. It lost its originality. Hopefully they go back to their roots and make a great game on what made them so good and not be another generic fighting game.
PWNSAUSE - we definitely need all those finishing features back, be cruel or be nice, your opponents were at your mercy. The combo feature was my favorite in MK3.

Donkey Kong Country was the reason I gave up my Sega Genesis for a Super Nintendo, too great for its time, then Killer Instinc and MK3 came out very close to each other so I had to have them, the sound track for KI was pretty dam cool too.
A price cut will help in competing againts the PS3 but it wont do much damage as they would like it to be.

I really enjoyed hearing about all the exciting things coming in 2008. I am really hyped already with GTA VI in a month and GTPro, then we get that little game called MGS4. This year should keep a lot of PS3 owners very busy. I am sure no one is thinking about 2009 at all yet since we got so much going on this year really no time to wonder what more exciting stuff we will get next year. Truly a year you cant miss owning a PS3.
