1 AAA battery? Are you freaking kidding me now were back to the days of having to buy batteries for our handhelds? Forget that, that's a deal killer for me I'll stick to games that don't make use of it or trade in my 3DS for a 3DS lite when that comes out.
Always loved the ArmA series, tho you can't compare this to BF3 or MW3, they are all different games that offer different things.

Wasn't the DS more like N64 and 3DS suppose to be more like the Gamecube or a tiny more which had 2 analogs?
The problem are coach potatoes who are too lazy to switch discs but have no problem running up stairs for fudge.
Yeah I don't mind trading in my 3DS for a newer one, sure beats having the ugly 2nd analog attachment.

I dished $250 and I don't mind the free games at all. Especially the GBA ones that will come like free mario kart and well as Pokemon Emerald (which I never played). I think Pokemon Emerald alone right now costs between $15-20 from amazon while Mario Kart: Super Circuit is like $5-10 but when you add up all the games it does equal out.

You didn't hear either what he's saying cause you don't remember what was going on at that time. The whole PSP coming with analog, better hardware, it was suppose to blow away the DS yet it never did. Vita may be more powerful and have 2 analogs but it's all about the games. The big N isn't doing too well with games but come christmas and onward the 3DS will skyrocket and come about 2013 you'll see a 3DS lite.
Yes but not this soon. Not many games will take advantage of this 2nd analog right now.

No. DS to DS Lite was 2 years, I doubt they will make a new 3DS after making it $169.99 so soon. If people didn't like the 3DS at $250 why would they like it with an extra analog since in the end it's still a 3DS.
Also the price cut hurt them but at the same time gave them sales, the announcement of this extra analog attachment also hurts them, so why would they announce a new version after less then a year since release it will horribly corrupt their name. I mean the...

They were thinking that $250 was pricey enough, if they added that it would raise the price of the device to say $259.99 or $269.99 which isn't very attractive.
So the 3DS will do fine, Vita will have an edge, only when they 3DS Lite (i'll call it that) is release is when the 3DS will shine, and thats not till like 2013 or so.
Already own a 3DS, never owned a MH game before, I'm interested in getting it but only if they ship it with this extra analog thing.
Besides I'll be getting a Vita also, if they make a MH game for that I can just get that instead :)
