Its probably a special edition like many games do like CoD gives out weird crap, here you'll probably get a PVC and instead of entering a code you just scan it, it's kinda a neat idea if you think about it, it makes ppl wanna pre-order and get physical + in-game content.

This is a Dedicated Server. Also, clans aren't just for PC gaming, Console players enjoy competitive play as well and would like to kick morons from the server. Also console players aren't just kids, adults play AND have money to buy/donate towards a server.
I'm a BF3 PC player, but even I can see the great potential in doing this. We usually spend $550-650 for a year for 1 64man server so $300 is about right.

First of all, they never said they would do this, they just hinted something like that for other titles, most likely the Next Medal of Honor.
Let's pretend they did tho, they would have to dig themselves out of one big hole because they have already said over and over that their server is FREE, and will never have to pay for such things. They know they will lose more Battlefield fans doing this then gaining money from the subscriptions.

They already learned with the 3DS that if something is too expensive it won't sell as planned. IMO they seriously need a name change, start with that and I'll show more interest.

Only someone like an X-box user would be use to having analogs sitting diagonal from each other. Playstation and Nintendo users would find this weird.
This is why the 3DS Circle Pad add-on thing is directly across from the other as with the Playstation Vita's analogs.

You know why? because developers can say this isn't the Final version. You think a company would want you to preview their next game after being so harsh? How often do you see someone give a HORRIBLE preview? Rare.

Yeah I know, N4G fan ratio is largely PS3 fans. I'm both a Playstation/Nintendo fan (hate Xbox), but I just find it funny when articles like this came for 3DS, everyone attacked the 3DS, now you see articles like this for Vita and it's being defended :P

Anyway, the PS Vita is failing in a county where it should be doing well. That doesn't mean the Vita is doomed, it's just off to a slow start. They can easily make some changes here and there like the 3DS did to make it sell once again, even if that means doing a price cut.
