The only reason Sony is even a blimp on microsofts radar is in the console market. As a overall company the competition that Sony is to Microsoft is laughable at best.
Well when I look at what the pro offers and then look at it's price to me it looks about right. For 399 u r basically getting the poor mans upgrade. With to me the only toutable upgrade being the 4.2 tflops of power which will help it to run better looking games at a upscale 4K image and some older and less demanding games at native 4K. Yup preordered my ultimate edition digital. Turned it on the second it released to hell with waiting in a line for a midnight release then take it home and still got to download. I only have one game physical Rare Replay and that's only cuz a buddy gave it to me as a gift.
U don't have a iPhone or something they have 4K screens that's what I'm look at these with and they look good.
Just look at it how it is now with console and pc where as X1S is the console and Scorpio is the pc. You will be getting the same game but with better graphics, textures, lighting etc. on Scorpio.

Which is y MS is brilliant for putting their exclusives on Win. 10 pc. They went from about 30 mil. Xbox on user base to over hundreds of millions of potential players to buy their games on Xbox and Win. 10 abosoluty brilliant. They know how to make that money.
The slim is already a failure. Although the pro will sell this sounds like damage control from Sony.
It took a little while to get used to the paddles but now they r embedded into my muscle memory. An absolute amazing controller if for some terrible reason it breaks :( I would easily pay another 150 for another one :).
Well I know one thing I only play in Xbox and I'm buying KH3 if not day one then soon after and would have bought this remix in a heart beat. I am actually seriously thinking about buying a PS4 just for this game then sell it afterwards or put it towards Scorpio. But I don't know if I want to play with that funky awkward controller.
The devs probably didn't want to waste the time porting it over to Xbox sense these games were never on Xbox. LAZY. That's too bad I would have bought it but oh well I'll just wait for KH3.
That's because all the things u listed r actually useful and make life more convenient. Ppl will say now what would thier life be without them. I don't think the same will b said about VR in 10 years.
Yea VR sounds nice and emersive but I'm not paying this much money for some 1 hour or less "experiences".
I believe Sony said that games will run at the same framerate on the pro as they will run on the OG PS4. Maybe though some games will have unlocked framrate like ROTTR but the real problem with the pro is the outdated CPU it's gonna hold the GPU back.
I wonder if $ony is gonna try to market this like it's an exclusive. With EXCLUSIVE on the box and in microscopic words on the bottom timed content like they did with Batman.
