If there's a next game, I think Batman: Gotham City will be the perfect name for it. With City in it's name it should be obvious that it's a continuation and not a reboot.

I know they aren't related but Rainbow Six and Command and Conquer both have 2013 release dates. They announced them too early at the vga to build hype. This might be the case with The Last of Us.
