I have both, i used to be a PS3 Fanboy believe me, but once you take the playstation brand out of it and just look at the consoles for what they are it becomes clear.
come back when you have long experience on both.
Oh and even though i agree PS3 has more exclusives these days, 360 plays all multi-plats better so youd still end up buying more games on the 360 :)

It all comes down to what you want
If all you care about is GAMING then go for an Xbox 360:
It almost always plays Multi-platform games better not to mention the amount of Exclusive DLC it gets, it has alot more Arcade games for download as well as an amazing collection of Exclusive Games, and undoubtably has the best Online experience thanks to the Party system etc.
But if you want a more, rounded, Multi-Media experience but still a brilliant Game Consol...

Exclusive DLC is the reason i sold my copies of Fallout 3 and GTA IV on the PS3 and re-bought them on the Xbox 360
Lost and Damned is amazing.
Answer me this PS3 only owners, why should i have to put up with the lesser of the two copies of a game?

Well duh we all knew that would happen Halo is such a powerfull brand
But dont take sales as quality, if we did that, Wii Sports would be better than any 360 or PS3 Exclusive becuase its sold the most!

Halo Wars - god awful crappy RTS which feels like its been made for 9 year olds
Killzone 2 - Amazing FPS with out standing visuals and a long cinematic experience.
It still looks awful, as does the PS3's
infact the only ever platinum game packaging that ever looked good was the PS3's

Xbox 360:
Best for its select few amazing exclusives
ALL Multi-Platform games, if it isnt superior graphics its an online that works thanks to XBL, and if it isnt that its Exclusive DLC
Playstation 3:
Best for its select few amazing exclusives (more coming this year)
Deffo best for its PSN games (as apose to XBL games) which i have many

Im pretty sure i remember hearing an interview where microsoft basicly said they where more than happy to work with sony on any front, except for the gaming front.
Would be awesome if its true, seems more at home with Xbox though.
