Customization is fine just don't build the whole game around cartoon characters that you play dress up with. For the majority its not about the females it's about the chasing the fortnight/overwatch model and abandoning the core ethos of the battlefield franchise.
I've thought about buying Xcom 2 at least 25 times, glad I didn't :)

gamerzero, I don't have exact numbers for Britain France ect but women didn't serve on the front lines for them either. Most were working in factories and the ones in military units were limited to searchlight operators, anti air battalions and cargo pilots. 16 American women died from enemy fire in WWII, 407,000 men died. That is a 0.000034% ratio so no women did not serve on the front lines on the western front. If they put in female snipers for the russians no one would bat an eye because that actually happened. I think your the one revising history here.
Teflon, they are going to sell ~15 million copies of the game. If they can't turn a profit off that amount of sales without gouging consumers then DICE needs to go under.

It's not that women are in the game it's the trying to sell it as an authentic WWII shooter, it's not. It's a WWII themed steampunk/bioshock shooter with cartoony graphics. You know completely dismissing an argument and trying to paint everyone with a different opinion as a bigot isn't healthy. Open your mind bud!!
I just want a game that plays exactly like bf3 but with better graphics :( sadly that is a pipe dream now, battlefield Vortnight is going a completely different route than I wanted.
You'll have to use war bonds to buy stuff like in bf1 I'd imagine. Question is how stingy will they get with them trying to get people to pay for them instead.

Play a round of BF1 and you'll get your answer. 40 of the 64 players will have a ping of 100+, 30 of the 64 will be in the 200+ range and a few will be up over 300. Good luck syncing up cloud gaming to work with those variations.

I was so close to level 70 on all characters in diablo 3 when my hard drive failed. Guess who didn't have a backup save for that game...Still hurts thinking about it after a few months lol
FIrst pink/green/blue hairdo I see breaks the realistic immersion so that's out the window. I with you, if they'd just stop trying to sell it as realistic when you're playing dress up in a WWII setting no one would care and no controversy.
