I think it will be Days Gone. I remember hearing during the GI coverage date will be coming soon, and I don't think the game will be in the E3 showcase so this would be the appropriate timeframe.
I had the original on the DS and made my way through a good portion of the game. I will be picking up this remake and look forward to diving back in. The story is interesting, classic turn based gameplay plenty of meaty content an underrated gem. Reminds me of old school PS1/SNES jrpgs, also a slight Chrono Trigger feel plotwise.

A good portion of Sony WorldWide Studios are based there Sony Santa Monica (God of War), Naughty Dog (TLOU 2) Sucker Punch (Ghosts of Tsushima) Sony Bend (Days Gone) and plenty of 3rd Parties; Bethesda, Insomniac (Spiderman), Rockstar Studios who works on the GTA/Read Dead series, Retro Studios for Nintendo etc..

I'll sum my thoughts on it as I see it. Sony will always invest in unique experiences and take a shot on the smaller guys, the whole Asian Indie/Developer support deal they have going that happened at either TGS or PSX 2016 can't remember which highlights that. There are more publishers now willing to support great indie games in development and releasing so Sony no longer needs to champion that as much as can focus efforts on other aspects of their gaming business, plus from a busine...
My guess is folks may be slightly off, i see Fall 2020 as too late, MS will be dropping their new release then and Fall 2019 is a tad early I see a Spring 2020 release. Sony seen Nintendo was successful with a Spring release and that gives them time to manufacture for the Holiday and a 6 month head start on MS.
