I just watched sonys e3 presentation and the only vita I saw was Freemium and Tv...it is disapointing to see that is the direction that they are pushing the vita. The games you mentioned look great and when the come I am all over them. But this is artical is about e3 hype and durring e3 they pushed the vita and the 3ds to the back burner (show floor only).
Selling at a loss is not the answer look at the dreamcast. A fifty dollar loss on a 10 million units makes for a 500 million loss. It takes a moron to not understand the crippling effect that would have on new game development. That amount of money is the equivalent of making 5 GTA5s.
My guess is that the outfits/sound effects/new animations will be the results of amiibo figures. Each figure may have a corisponding figure: while playing slap down any amiibo and have it instantly change your games sound look etc.
If they are as serious about amiibo/Bayonetta 2 as they say they are this would be a great way to boost both IPs

Sega went broke by making poor business decitions w the dreamcast the loss they where taking on each consloe sold was to large to make up with the slow software sales. The companys liquid funds where exausted after one year no money no consoles The dreamcast sold well and that ultimately killed itself death by success.
I miss SEGA hardware they where way ahead of the times.
Accually that is only the TV remote feature of the game pad (still awsome). The "TVii" function (the featured updated topic) is accessible from the home button or home screen when the wii u is on. This feature allows you to communicate with other tviiers who are watching the same show via text or drawing. Yup SEGA. They where way ahead of the times. First with online too (built in X band wins otherwise, not xbox, "Xband") First with dowload/on demand games too via SEGA Channel. And first Game Disk via Sega CD. And first to drag their mascot through 10 years of S games.
I could go on but I think you get the point we have been riding their coattails for years;)

Thats is because they only have 2 first party games. So yeah I would be buying 3rd party games to in the absence of 1st party.

If I coud give you two agrees I would. Mario party titles are hit and miss. But when I say hit I mean Hit! MP DS is a great example of a hit: download play, traditional gameplay (1,2), two puzzle games built in, unlockables. But there are others that soil the good name. Lets face it though if you "hated" it, it is because you where once madly in love.

The N64 was upgradeable w the expantion pack. The Genesis had the 32x and sega Cd. Xbox 360/ps3 where upgradeable via adding HD install data alowing them to process much more data at a time. Also the wii u has a custom chip set that is upgradeable via firmware. PS1 also needed firmware updates to be able to play new games. And adding wii u memory is easly upgraded with almost any external hd or flash drive. So... yes consoles are upgradeable.

I am with you. There was that tweet from square about DQ fans watching e3 this year. The wii U only move would be smart for Nintendo but I believe that square will want at least the PC version launched.
Not on ps4 but I did play it on my 360 no 499$ needed. So in terms of Xbone it was not exclusive. I sapose you will call the halo collection a xbone exclusive. "Xbone the only place you can play the same games the 360 can on one disk."
