Owning a hard copy is key for the main driver of the business = collectors. Besides imagine a 20GB download per movie that you can only play on the machine you got it on ... well unless you have a friendly media server but that tech changes alot too .. if its been hard to deliver DVD quality video imagine how hard it would be for true HD.

They are stealing this play right out of the nintendo playbook ... i see Xbox 360s at all of the stores I go to that carry them in chicago ... target, best buy, gamestop .. all month especially the elite .. so im calling bullshit on this one.

these days the enthusiast media is as valid if not more reliable than traditional sources (gamespot anyone) .. its a great thing this internet and the voice it has given to real gamers who I personally would rather hear an opinion from than a refried press release or talking points.
It is crucial with advertisements over xmas showing home that they hurry up and just make a public beta available at LEAST!

i just wish people spent more time to really redo the icons .. im so sick of seeing half assed themes with the sample01 icon set ... lazy.

if you got the new super stardust HD and do the select music thing it has a static menu via options then pops up an XMB like sub menu for music .. so GOD knows how they will handle it In Game for realzees .. personally I think if someone wanted to give the scoop they would take better care in taking the picture ;)
the format that won this war was tied to the gaming industry .. im sure the PS3 would have survived had HD-DVD won, but now that Blu-ray has all but won its a different story and any of us news obsessed freaks know it.
