Is it hard? No. Is it challenging? Absolutely. It's also the best RPG at the moment, IMO.
And if you get frustrated by the difficulty, just summon blue phantoms to help you out.
Well if that guy really works in the industry (which I doubt) then he knows that there still isn't a release date for both US&EU.
And when the damage was shown at GC, there was reports indicating that the damage model was at early stage.
So, if the game will be released in US&EU this year, then this guy is full of BS. If the game will be released next year world wide, then I think this guy might be right.
we still don't have US&EU release date... I think that the game will be released in US&EU this December.
FF13 is coming out December in Japan so there's no need to release GT5 in there this year.
I think that the damage will be limited to NASCAR and WRC so those would be selected cars.

those sales numbers are way off... MGS 4 has sold over 4.7 mil, GT5 Prologue has sold more than 4 mil and Killzone 2 has sold over 2 mil. Btw, for the rpg genre, they could have picked up games like infinite undiscovery and last remnant against VC and WKC.
And quanity doesn't always mean guality ;)
Hopefully they will release this game this year.
