Never played Mario Kart 64. I'm 22 and my first console was a PS2, favorite game was Timesplitters 2. Splitscreen coop was fun then...I now have a Wii U and can't wait for Mario Kart 8! I'm saving money to get an Xbox 1 in Nov. when Halo 2 anniversary comes out (hopefully) so many good times playing that game with friends at halo parties (we literally called then Halo parties back then)aahhh good times goooood times.

Meh, those things won't happen. Those are my hopes. In another life I'm a video game storyboard creator/designer. Sadly I'm a Midwest Jail officer in debt from college. Progressing and becoming financially stable are the things I pray and cross my fingers for lol.
It's going to be interesting how they go about making those smart changes. I like to think they have a bombshell up their sleeves (Thinking about Miyamoto's unannounced new IP)
I hope the Wii U does great. I'm just saying if it can't recover I'm okay with it because there are still some sweet games coming. I personally Can't wait for X, Zelda (not Hyrule Warriors the new Legend of Zelda game), and Mario Kart 8.
I'm actually going to give an answer for both!
Halo: Keep changing up the formula for Halo games. I want to play a multiplayer mode that allows you to battle as a Spartan, Covenant (and its separate classes: grunt, jackal, hunter ect.), or Promethean Warrior with unique character movement and abilities for each. Have an ability or game mode that allows dual wielding. Give me an emotional/smart campaign story.
Gears: Use a different color pallet. Focus on ...
Hey, I love Nintendo but they messed up with the Wii U in the marketing department. I personally believe the Wii U should of had a different name (or at least drop the "Wii" and leave the U). Anyway, I have one and it's awesome. If the Wii U dies within a year or Nintendo explodes or whatever, I know that I can at least hang my hat on the notion that I will get about 5 MORE awesome games, this year, that can't be experienced on anything else. Thanks Nintendo, keep being U.

PS4 and Xbox1 games this gen don't have to be great, they will be fine just because its cool to own one apparently. Nintendo is the one that truly NEEDS to work their magic. But 1st party Nintendo Games are, more often than not, solid so no worries.
