Say whaaaa? As a primarily XBOX gamer, it is safe to say that Sony (the Playstation brand) hasn't lost its magic. It is going strong and will continue to flourish for many years to come. While companies like Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo may have their waxing and waning moments, these companies learn from each other more than you think. Sharing of ideas is more commonplace that you know in order to keep the gaming ecosystem healthy and thriving.
Yes...it is all dependent on allocation of resources. Again, all up to the developers. There is no mandate on visual fidelity or fps.
Honestly, as primarily an XBOX gamer, I am sick of the XBOX fanboys saying that Destiny 2 SHOULD be 60fps and Sony fanboys downplaying the power. Like Mike Ybarra said, it is up to the developers. If they decide it to be 4K/30fps, so be it. It doesn't mean that the system isn't capable.
I agree! While I do enjoy my PS Pro, I have noticed a slew of vitriolic articles towards MS...and most of it this bitterness is derived from its 2013 E3 showing........almost 4 years ago. People tend to get very dramatic....and they need to learn on how to learn to let go. Phil had the daunting task of correcting Mattrick's missteps and I think he has done a fine job so far!
While I do agree that MS is sorely lacking in exclusives, this subscription based service is still an option....not obligatory, so the hate and the lambasting is unwarranted. As a 38yr old gamer who works in the corporate world, I can tell you that no company is exempt from making poor decisions. Sony and MS have made their fair share....but you have to understand things from the corporate side as ultimately, they are a business. Phil doesn't control the budget....the Finance team does...
Incorrect. All console dev kits have higher specs than their market counterparts. Developers go high then scale down till they find the optimal performance. But this also goes to show how highly optimized the Forza engine is, especially since the Turn 10 geniuses can pull of 4K/60fps with GPU power to spare. While there is no doubt that not all games will be native 4K/60 fps, depending on studios' capabilities, hardware (mainly CPU) limitations, and developers' choices as where to...
