reasearch people!!!!!! Xbox 360 games are always scaled from 720p to 1080p with the exception of nba street homecourt. Bungie has directly stated in many interviews that the game is rendered in 720p but upscalable to 1080p. And by the way to the person who said ps3 cant do real 1080p, unfortunately ps3 does not have a scaler chip at all thats why there a very few games which run in 1080p and those that do..... actually have 1080p on the supported resolutions area on the back of the box.
there not using the triggers for firing the weapon i love the sixaxis triggers and have never had a problem because of the size and I got some huge hands........just hope we have the option to change it as COD3 didn't.
you don't need a 5.1 sound system to hear the benefits of 10 gigs of sound........if it sounds good it sounds good no getting around that
This is why Msoft went with a HDMI 1.2 port because 10 GB of sound would never fit on a DVD therefore the ability to pass Linear PCM/uncompressed sound thru Hdmi 1.3 would be wasted capability on the 360

umm you can do all of that media related stuff and yes even stream content from MICROSOFT windows media player to a SONY playstation 3. Go head browse your 4tb server with the ps3. Yes the 360 has better games right now...but its also been out for 2 years.
what the blu-ray provides besides more space for textures and all that. Xbox fanboys say it has no advantage that DVD is just fine but what about sound,extras, and convienece. Let me know what Xbox 360 has linear PCM uncompressed surround sound, you can't because first of all it can't pass that signal through its HDMI output (only HDMI ver. 1.3 ) and because it would take up about 4 gigs of your precious dvd 9.

Sony has done some stupid things this gen but one thing they have nailed since day one is many brand new ip's. Things like HS, Lair, Uncharted all new franchises and also mixing sequels (KZ2, Getaway, etc) into it and it seems like in the next couple years are going to acheive a nice balance in game genre's, which is the way to go because i can't help but think how annoyed i get to hear nintendo releasing another zelda or mario game nothing against nintendo but its too monotonous.

I wasnt dissing the wii bud I was just merely saying that it could be an even greater system if they added some different games thats all i have nothing against any system there all good but unfortunately my wallet does because i can only afford one system right now.

When wii 2 releases : (the top games) Metroid Galaxy( 1,2,3 combined with cameo Mario appearances), Super Mario Sunshine Paper Party,and Cooking Papa (because males cook too). Lol come on Nintendo is ridiculous, no doubt the Wii is a great concept and its selling like crazy and the controller could provide something very immersive but unfortunately rehashes and fitness games wont cut it in the long run.

If you can customize your controls I hate that they decided to use R1 and came up with a lame excuse that the sixaxis is unconfortable like that which is BS because in resistance i have no problems whatsoever using the triggers to fire and i have VERY large hands.
