How does resolution and frame rate apply to console VR? It seems consoles still struggle to output 1080p with a decent frame rate. Will there be graphical downgrades in order to feed helmets?

This looks refreshing! Cant wait to see how it develops. How does VR work with FPS? Does the Weapon Aim independently from the FOV camera like it should? Wouldn't work so well in the 3rd person..
What about story? Will it live up to a Tom Clancy novel or are they just gonna milk his name? They haven't displayed a lot of depth regarding the plot or characters. But then again everyone seems to be focused on the graphics. The development and marketing of this title has me a little confused.
All things aside, the hardwares price tag can only be justified by its usability and that's determined by its games list. I would feel pretty silly if i spent 600$ on a Rift and it just sat on my shelf collecting dust. however, if it had a rock solid games list and i got hours of enjoyment out of it then maybe its worth it. Still a bit steep IMO and i can see the price dropping after initial release. Im sure some people will buy it just to watch porn. Ballers
