franchise needs to go back to its routs and make a dark, less cartoony game like the OG 1 and 2
they have a good formula and im sure alot of fans will miss it when its done. but well have the memories...
not even close...
should have been "Origins of the cerebral bore.."
its not easy to get fired as a top executive...
ah the dawn of FPS and the golden age of gaming.
a lot of streamers have young kids watching them and it aint for the games they're playing!
plot twist, they just used "AI"
one moment i enjoyed from the first game was when you were crossing a suspension bridge and out from the fog comes a giant barbarian rushing towards you. I wish there was more badass moments like that with some god of war style music.
In reality its pay per second compute. Many people probably game less than 3.33 hours a day or 100 hours a month which means nvdia is earning more money from that group. The residual hours could potentially be allocated to the much smaller group that does game over the 100 hour mark.
whoops
welcome to the internet. This guy should know better than to acknowledge the haters. its 2024, and even hate generates engagement, views and clicks on articles etc. haters gone be all over this trying to get their points
why is ubisoft so afraid of trying something new. its like they cant even devote a month of payroll to coming up with a new concept. they've certainly made enough money off assassins creed franchise alone to develop a new IP. remember when AC 1 was first announced, watching tech demos, it was awesome. and when farcry 1 dropped, even though it felt similar to crysis game engine wise, the multiplayer and map editor was awesome.
mean while the ubisoft employees are doing puppy dog yoga all day getting greased up before a big layoff
i knew someone was going to mention AI
UBISOFT - MILK THE FRANCHISE MORE!
- Ghost of Yotei gets announced -
UBISOFT - STOP THE MILKAGE TEMPORARILY
FF15 had a similar slow start until it went multi platform and they released some bug fixs and royal addition. Ive played all of them and theyre all great in their own way but with 16 i had to skip through the most talking and the gameplay wasnt as smooth as the unreal engine stuff but it looked gorgeous
the game looks good but they put too much glowy stuff on everything. also the on screen text for points and blocked etc looks very dated
tail as old as time. people been tired of starwars for a minute now. wake up
i agree. I remember watching tech demos being super hyped about assasins creed 2 and the farcry map editor etc.
today i feel nothing for ubisoft. wheres the originality, wheres the innovation, wheres the fun...
ubisoft will never get my money every again.
