ya show the damn console or some clips from old Atari games i don't need to look at you and see your hand gestures to hear you talk.
i don't care about specs or brands. i care about game titles, exclusives and game quality. that's what makes a system a relevant purchase and if its got those the price is warranted.

the renders generated for film were art directed on a shot by shot basis by a panel of supervisors and then dialed in further by a compositor and then reviewed again by a panel of supervisors. theyre also filmed from specific angels making it easier to cheat things.
and potentially rendering it at a higher resolution also.
