Regardless of what he says. I've played the Wii and the Ds for a fair amount of time, and I realized after that time that I myself as a more hardcore gamer that it is a fad and that I myself would only buy a Wii as a party novelty instead of a personal gaming machine. As for the DS I think i'll stick to the PSP for now.

I think you got the nail right on the head. I only have a PS3 right now but i'm looking into getting a 360 but was waiting for them to fix the hardware issues first. So now since they finaly owned up to it I might pick 1 up as well.

Have to disagree with you because I log some long hours online with motorstorm, resistance, and R6:Vagas. So PS3 owners can play for some extended periods of time with no problems. Not to mention folding puts some serious strain on the system, and people leave it on for days on end doing that and have yet to have problems.
Didn't they also say they were refunding people who had to pay to get the RROD fixed in the passed also? If that were the case then they would have a loss imediatly since they are giving money back to the consumer... but correct me if i'm wrong to lazy to look right now.

I'm a Sony fan but this article is just flame bait. We have already seen the articles about less then 1% failure rate, ect ect... so I think this shouldnt get put through. And my ps1 and ps2 also still have no problems crazymad59, but mine werent launch consoles. But problems do exist. Some people just don't believe it till it happens to them but it happend with the ps1, ps2, 360, ect.
This is only speculation. Game looks fun regardless, but if its PS3 exclusive then so be. But if it's multi then share the love bc this game still looks awsome regardless of platform.
Ya those are the usual flamers that appear in any positive Sony article. They such big fanboys that it kinda makes me sick sometimes. But I hear towels work wonders for fevers. :) See any1 can flame I just did it because they are starting to get on my nerves.

If they do see the PS3 as a more standard platform then maybe NG2 will be multi platform. Not saying it's gonna happen but a guy can dream can't he?

Ya but if i get bored I play games on my PC because I know it wont die on me unlike some other piece of hardware I know. Not to mention if it gets bad enough for the other fans who don't have a gaming PC then they can enjoy their backwards compatibility that the xbox so fortunately lacks for most titles except for a small handful.
Getting my copy next week. Should hold me off till august when the steady stream of games start.
And if they have a 360 all they have is another generic FPS. So what are you trying 2 say?
I watched the first little bit and it looks amazing. I stopped watching it though so It can still surprise me when it comes out.

Good point deep. But this game merits more then Eurogamer gives it credit for. I myself am buying Sigma. But I didn't buy a PS3 just for this game. That would be pretty stupid of me.
Could also be the difference in the SD resolutions so they may have to fine tune the videos a tad. Japan and NA use the same standards.
