By the way, both version of the game comply of the same elements. The only difference is that, PC version will edge out the console version because of the resources it has.
I'd Say friends because regardless of how far consoles go, PC's will always be needed. There won't be a time where PCs will be completely replaced by consoles.
PC is a PC, it wins best features comparison including online and the others.
So far as competition exist, companies are always going to be pushing for the best to impress

Yeah so far they've been doing just that at all press conference. Their presence at E3 was enormous as well as GC and they have a history of always having the biggest booths at TGS so this is going to be pretty big.
Sony Announces, Microsoft Announcing now, Nintendo is sure to follow. Everything is going digital. Great to see competition pushing these companies to unveil new stuff.
More games going on the delay list, next year is going to a very busy year for gamers. It will be very busy compared to this year if you look at the number of games that have been pushed back and the unannounced titles.

Completely agree with this article, consumers summer from the constant wars been those two companies (Sony and Toshiba).
The average consumer only cares about getting the best that there is out there. They aren't so much into the specs. Having BD an HD DVD is confusing most consumers as well. Just hope this war wears out quickly.
PS3 Owners will finally get a taste of Stranglehold. This is what decides the game value for you. Purchase ? Rent ? Ignore ?
I wish they would do this for all games, release a demo at least.
