How am I supposed to buy all these games?!!!!!
I really want Burnout 5, Halo 3, Mass Effect, Crackdown currently. I love the C&C series and am looking forward to C&C 3. But, I prefer RTS games on the PC and thankfully C&C 3 is going to pc also. some of the stories I read there and other incidents like that not even related to games make me sad. If you dont know something, dont be afraid to say you dont and ask for help! Or research online if possible. I can forgive someone for being misinformed and being ignorant about something, but to become crazed because they "know" their right just makes me want to pile up corpses. The PC is far louder than all three consoles. I have had many pc's, and they all are pretty loud, at least fan based pc's. I personally dont even hear noise from any of the 3 consoles because of this.
Why would Microsoft release a brand new model 360 after only 1 year? That makes no sense. And even if was true, the article says upgrades to a "cooler" proccessor, not faster nor better. That is the last straw that dictates my newfound respect for crackdown. I purchased Just Cause and like it, but the action is kinda fake at times. Crackdown only worries me because it may be too easy or too hard. Like just cause. WAAAAAY to easy most of the time and really really hard at other times.
I personally dislike sony and love microsoft. I avoid sony products and have only been won over by good quality cheap headphones and the PSP which seems to be alienated by regular sony fans. AS much as I hate sony, I know that EA sucks. YOu say the 360 is at its top potential, but you know that is not true. I played gears online recently and after a few matches decided that the cheaters/hackers are in full play. Most of the matches I played took at least a minute to begin. When I played with a certain select few players, the game took around 5 minutes to begin. They also did not speak untill the game actually began. When they took this 5 minutes to get ready I instanly noticed many glitches. Like shooting through pillars of solid concrete, spinning, and way too fast rodie running, and head shots...

no one says if you can save ALL data to the external HD for the 360. If you connect a HD to it, can you save your games, photos, movies, and such to it? I bet you could put movies and photos and music, but what about actual downloadable content or even normal saves? Could I save my XBL profile to the HD?
If there are no challengers to one console then cool games will cease to exist. Ex. When the ps2 came out, what was there to compete? Dreamcast? It died and then what? PS2 made lots of money, and lots of games. The problem is, look at all those games after the dreamcast was gone. The time period between the dreamcast and xbox. All the games sucked. The original xbox was a beast. It has a hard plastic cover case lined with a steel casing around the system components. Then, heavy duty plastic covering the mobo and the HD and the cd drive. The xbox was almost invinceable. It was bullet resistant, a weapon of mass destruction, and could survive falls off of buildings.
So, by this logic you could say that the Original xbox was a deadly weapon, shield, and should be feared by all.

Every game that is released has the great potential to fail miserably. Splinter Cell for example to me was great. The newest one however seems to suffer greatly from lack of innovation and lazy devs. The game could have been way better, but it was not. The same goes for Ghost Recon games, each one is good, but every push just doesnt seem fantastic. Gears of war could have failed too, but was done with such a sparkle of something that it just rocks. Every one knows that hard drives fail way before any other part of a computer normally. With the ps3 you have a built in HD that may need replacing. This means that unless sony lets you open it up and change it yourself, you are screwed or at the very least need to send the console in for repair. The 360 and computer can be replaced rather easily. 360 HD replacement takes only seconds and you can have as many HD's as you want. The 20g size will be upsized, that is just common sense.
Why do people keep comparing the 360 sales to the ps2? Isnt the ps2 last gen? Didnt the ps2 compete directly with the xbox? xbox did well but lost in sales numbers? isnt the 360 like $400 and the ps2 like $100? I dont see how the two can be compared then in sales figures at all. Shouldnt the 360 be compared in all aspects with the PS3 and the original xbox in all aspects of the ps2?
After about 1 mn it is all done and probably already back at the desktop. I LOVE XBOX and 360!!
I have a PSP and like it so far. It is my portable game system so I dont expect it to be anywhere near as good as the 360 or xbox. I only buy games for it that I think are the coolest. Like Burnout legends and starwars battlefront 2 which are only $20 a pop and killzone liberation which reminds me of army men 2 on pc from long ago.
You all got issues and should go see a shrink, especially you sony fans.
