IGN's a mess as of lately. If I search it on google I always get linked to the sucky localized (dutch) version which I do not even bother with. When I reach it with my smartphone it's just all commercials and popping videos on the top of the screen, glitching in and out like F*** rendering the site effectively useless. I get my information elsewhere these days, it's also too PC and quite frankly too generous with scores.
Ofcourse this is intentional, seeing how thoroughly detailed the singleplayer experience is, it's nowhere near likely that they have not thought of incentivizing the use of microtransactions through deliberate changes to the online economy. Seeing how much they are giving though, it seems reasonable to do so though as the amount of content included is borderline ludicrous.
If anything, it shows how susceptible they are to suggestive violence if indeed they think this way. I've seen mass murders beyond compare on a screen and am a sweet person. We on the other hand have learned to distance our inner self from violence in videogames in such a way that we won't be copying such behaviour. It's just a simple thing to say when you actually have no idea why you did such thing, or rationalize it in a way which is universally understandable because the real ...
Wait, did the belgian government actually did something positive this year, this is truely astounding. All in all it's good news if this law is "contagious" and spreads throughout europe. If it's not, it's possible this could have negative ramifications for us Belgian gamers as it seems rather unlikely developers will implement adequate measures to counter-balance deeply rooted gameplay features just for the sake of one country the size of Belgium. Ultimately resulting i...
It has it's hiccups, but nothing truely game ruining. In the menu's, when the camera angles change, it sometimes poses some frameproblems. Also when I start up a game the first mere second when you get the first view of the track, the image simply freezes. Beyond that it's silky smooth. The performance test showed something really weird though, I believe my average fps was around 58 while minimum was a staggering 1.2 fps, it did show a major freeze while on this performance test, ...
Stupid headliner, animations on it's own cannot be 4K. They are automatically rendered in whatever resolution the developer has tied to a specific version.
Ubisoft has been losing it lately, I won't preorder any ubisoft games anymore. All their games are uninspirational open world games with roughly the same things to do over and over. Playing a ubisoft game longer than two hours feels like a grind and kinda numbs you down to a gaming zombie stuck in a gameplayloop that's long overdue. I hope this is better though, but the division has left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. God how I managed to play that game up until lvl 20 is still a...
I'm using an i5 4570 , gtx 1060 6GB and 16 gb of ram. I'm running it on ultra 1080p 60 FPS. The requirements had me scared at first but my machine is still going strong, seems exceptionally well optimized.
(ori and the will of the wisps runs worse : P )
