As a non-glasses wearer in general, i can't see myself being able to enjoy a game while wearing a pair of those oversized abominations. I guess it might be cool for a quick burst of gaming, but that's about it. I'll wait till we can view 3D without the glasses.
Actually, the C64 turned me well violent. I think it was the time i got stuck in some impossibly long and narrow part of a Bubble Bobble level that did it. I had no way of getting out and just lost it man. I lost it.
People will just look stupid playing that. Like the guy in the photo.
Australia: the new nanny state.
That proof is indisputable!
Anyone else read that headline as 'illustrated beastiality'?
'tis been a long day!
Well it certainly didn't help Bill maintain top spot on the rich list! Or something.
Carmen Sandiego was always pretty badass!
Man, a few years ago an equivalent model would've cost over 4 grand. So nice that so much grunt is now available for well under 2K. But i still can't get over how people can play games on a laptop -- it's just so awkward.
Indeed. I wonder if there are any gamers on the classification board? Or any young, logical people for that matter :P But yeah, if enough people fill out the survey and give strong, clear opinions on why R is needed, then hopefully they will act on it.
Well, it's a step in the right direction. Doubt it will change anything though.
That list is is really heavy on Intel. For an inexpensive system, i'd be looking at an AMD Phenom II CPU. Wonder if 4-series Radeon graphics can run it at low detail level. If so, all you need is a mobo with built-in ATI graphics (say 890GX chipset), a Phenom II x4 and 4GB RAM. With a cheapie PSU and case, should be doable for under $500.
